FM # 446200-1-52-01 is a Resurfacing, Restoration, and Rehabilitation (RRR) project along Pines Blvd (SR 820) from SR-93/I-75 (MP 5.861) North on-ramp to East of NW 118 Avenue (MP 7.87) in Broward County. SR 820 is an eight-lane divided urban principal arterial road, featuring predominantly 11-foot travel lanes in each direction, 5-foot bike lanes, and other elements such as raised landscape median, curb and gutter, and 4–10-foot concrete sidewalks on both sides of Pines Blvd. The scope of work includes milling 2.5” of asphalt along SR820 Pines Blvd (within project limits) and repaving a total of 2.5” of asphalt (1.25” of structural layer, and 1.25” of friction course). Just north of SR 820 Pines Blvd, at SR 823 Flamingo Rd, it is proposed to mill down 1.25” of asphalt and resurface 1.25” of friction course. Other activities include signalization improvements at several intersections such as SR 820 and SW 118th Ave, SW 129th Ave, SW 136th Ave, and SW 142nd Ave. At the northwest corner of this last intersection, a new mast arm will be installed. On westbound Pine Blvd, the project will add an additional 12-foot right turn lane to the NB I-75 ramp, starting east of 142nd Ave. Lanes along the project corridor will be restriped to accommodate buffered bike lanes, featuring green-colored pavement markings at conflict zones and other pavement marking upgrades. The project also encompasses signage, transit enhancements at bus stops, landscaping, bringing existing pedestrian curb ramps up to ADA standards, and the addition of a shared-use path along the north side of SR 820 Pines Blvd, including new lighting (plus retrofitting existing ones).

The primary objective of this development is to alleviate vehicular congestion at the intersection of US-1 (SR 5) and SE 17th Street, and along SE 17th Street, by facilitating vehicular access to the new A1A Bypass Road. Video detection devices will be added to mast arm intersections throughout the corridor. In addition, upgrades to the bus stops will be done throughout the project limits. Forest Hill Blvd./SR-882 is located within Palm Beach County, with a portion of the roadway within the City of Wellington.

FIN 444444-2-52-01. This Project, undertaken in partnership with National Park Services (NPS), FDOT and FHWA, is the largest ecological restoration project in the Continental US. This Project is made up of 3 Segments between SFWMD Structure S-333 at the western limits and east of Structure S-334 as the eastern limits for 11 gross mi. less the 2 completed projects (TTP1 and 1 mi Bridge) for 7 mi approx. The project includes the reconstruction of the existing two-lane roadway and shoulders; realigning and raising the profile of the existing roadway approximately two feet, placement of geosynthetic reinforcements for roadway and base reinforcement, utility coordination, construction of 7 drainage culvert crossings, 6 bridges of 60’ span each, construction of drainage swales and harmonizing the proposed roadway to adjacent properties and SFWMD canals within the project limits.
